I also appreciated that the hidden object scenes and puzzles were a little challenging, as in, you really have to look and sometimes use objects from your own inventory to access items in the puzzle. The mini games were a good challenge, though I admit to skipping some of them out of frustration... Besides the hidden object scenes, I enjoyed the 'hacker' challenges the most. I did wonder whether I should've tried to play it in German simply for language study's sake, seeing as it was set in Germany and many of the inventory maps included German keywords... Something to try next time.. An interesting point and click puzzle game. This was the first game I have played of this type, and I really enjoyed it until towards the end. The big problem for me is that the puzzles get diabolically hard, and there is no real explanation of most of them as to exactly what you have to do to solve them. There is only a single guide on Steam, for one particular puzzle, and no google matches for any of the other puzzles. Instead, to get past a lot of them, I had to resort to a Let's Play series on YouTube (and even they didn't manage to solve all the puzzles, thankfully there is a 'skip' button). So, if you like hard puzzles and point and click games, this is a game for you. If you want to try something new, then keep in mind the hard puzzles. If you don't like difficulty in a game (and I don't, I don't play games for the challenge), then this game may not be for you.. This is a nice little game. Here are my pros and cons:+ beautiful design+ good voice acting in comparison to many other games in this genre+ puzzles are interesting+ use of tablet as communication device, camera, UV-light, night vision ..+ nice music, and I loved the ambient sounds- I like it, when you can adjust difficulty levels to customary preferences, here you only have the three default difficutly levels - they are ok, so no major thing- game crashed once when I switched to desktop, otherwise it ran without any problems- although I found the story interesting, I could have done with a little less dialogue or more playable content between the existing dialogue ;)If you like HO-games with adventure elements, I can only recommend this.. I really liked the style of the game. Compared to other hidden object adventures I played, this one has an unique look and an intersting historical setting. Always wanted to know more about Castle Neuschwanstein, seems they did a really accomplished combination of fact and fiction. I guess they watched bavarien cop series, this Wachtmeister reminds me strongly of someone.... Very nice graphics and so far a great hidden object game. Love the settingPlayed a bit more and love the historical use of characters. Very nicely done. This little gem has beautifull graphics (really) which reminded me of the old days when playing Sierra games (remember those?). The puzzles are certainly not too easy, had to use the help button here and there because I some puzzles were somewhat annoying :)The game offers a 'jump to location' map, which is really cool since it saves you a lot of walking. Also the game isnt too short and has a nice plot to it.. You play the role of a Journalist employed by a mystery employer out to find out what is going on at the Neuschwanstein Castle where some unconventional renovations are going on.You get the help of a renowned Professor already on location for his own findings and demystification of the mysterious death of the Fairy-tale King.The more you look into things, the more mystery and puzzles you need to solve.You find out that the Castle was built by this famous Fairy-Tail King and the more you dig, the more questions you have than answers.You learn a lot about this king, his hobbies and his secrets, maybe even about a link to the Holy grail ?!?! But that has to be verified.Soon a murder happens on the Castle grounds and you start helping the police in their investigation not putting aside your own story.The story is very good, the twists and plots are fun. Loved the game. Don't forget to use your tools and inventory items when in hidden object puzzle, because they are needed some times.I recommend this game.. This very short casual point-and-click adventure has much better storytelling and characterization than is usual for this genre. There are some nice hidden-object scenes and challenging (but fair) puzzle mini-games.Sounds great, right? Unfortunately, this game fails because the game engine is unbearably clunky. Usually you have to point and click, but there are a few key moments where you have to drag items instead, and there's no clear logic as to why you would need to do so. The engine also requires a very annoyingly precise level of pixel hunting, both to find usual items and to find items in hidden-object scenes.The dev team has a lot of potential! But they really need to 1) clean up the game engine, 2) add much more content for a released game.
